When I lived in UK, I looked around for a good Plastic Surgeon. I traveled to London to meet some of the best and most popular doctors, but I was still not satisfied. I felt like I was on a conveyer belt that went through their waiting rooms! I just didn’t feel comfortable and many of them didn’t seem to give me honest answers to my questions. And of course, like anyone, I had many questions.

One of the biggest questions was of course, about the cost of the surgery. When I was told the prices of the procedures I wanted done, I thought, “My God, I’ll need to take out a second mortgage on my home!” Needless to say, I left dissatisfied and with thoughts of never being able to have any surgery done.

Then I heard that surgery abroad was much cheaper, so I began to look into it. Although the price was a big factor, I still wanted to make sure that I put myself into the hands of a safe, competent and experienced Plastic Surgeon. Plastic surgery is not something to be taken lightly and it must be done safely and effectively the first time.

I came to Cyprus on holiday and checked around for a surgeon as I had heard that they do a lot of surgery here.

After searching the entire island, conducting thorough research and fully weighing my options as well as coming to terms with what I really wanted, I found a doctor who I thought was right for me. He made me feel very comfortable and completely at ease, answering all my questions honestly and openly.

Not once did I feel like I was on that conveyer belt. The fact that the prices were a third of what they were in the UK reinforced my decision to book my surgery here in Cyprus.

The clinic was small but private. Very clean and neat. The nurses and staff were all very kind and attentive. The doctor came into see me once again before I went down for my surgery to make sure I was completely happy and at ease and gave me the chance to ask any last minute questions.

On the way down to the theatre I thought, “Here I go! No turning back now!!” I’m so glad that I did it because it has changed my life! It was something that I had been thinking of for many years and never really had the courage to do it.
