Dr. Sophocles Nicolaides

Dr. Sophocles Nicolaides was born in Nicosia Cyprus on the 19^th of April 1962.

After graduating from Strovolos high school in Nicosia with excellent grades, he served in the Army, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant.

In 1991 he graduated from the well-known Charles University in Prague with excellent grades, obtaining a degree of a Medical Doctor.

Rotating Internship in General Practice, Surgery and Gynecology at General Hospital in Nicosia and Makarios Hospital in Nicosia

Angio and Thoracic Department, Ap. Petrou & Pavlou Hospital, Kifisia, Athens, Greece

1994-1995
General Surgery Department, Ap. Petrou & Pavlou Hospital, Kifisia, Athens, Greece

1995-2001
Plastic Surgery and First Degree Burn Department, (Ap. Petrou & Pavlou Hospital, Kifisia, Athens, Greece) where he gained his experience in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed his training in Plastic Surgery collaborating with many famous foreign plastic surgeons and became a Board Certified
Specialist in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery (Greece 2001, Cyprus 2001). He published several articles in scientific magazines and presented several projects
at National and International conferences before settling in Cyprus. He is a member of both the Cyprus Society Of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery & The Hellenic Society Of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr Nicolaides is happily married and has two children. He manages to balance his family life wonderfully with the task of a busy professional who quickly became one of the most respected and most successful plastic surgeons of the country.
